WHAT CAN LANDOWNERS DO TO HELP?
Now is the perfect time after the mowing and grazing to do some projects on your property to help our district and let's face it, this will help us when it comes to driving or moving equipment down our narrow roads.
1) Large debris and obstruction clearing off levees. This will not only help the mowing crew get through easier, but will also help the overall grade we receive from DWR for our levees.
2) Tree skirting and trimming. This helps mowing crews and our DWR report card, and it will help us when it comes to driving or moving equipment down our narrow roads.
3) Ditch and Canal cleaning. This will help all drainage water flow to the district pumps.
